The Mill Restaurant opened in August 2006, quickly gaining a reputation as one of Hardware Lane’s best restaurants, and was proud to be featured in The Age Good Food Guide, gaining an entry just 4 months after opening.  The Mill uses the finest ingredients possible, and proudly supports fresh Australian produce.  The Mill is open Monday - Saturday for lunch and dinner, and Saturday and Sunday dinner from 5pm.

Made up of several different areas, including an intimate dining room, a large wine bar / bar / casual dining area, and plenty of tables for al fresco dining (or just drinking!) in the lane way the Mill offers something for everyone.  Charlie's  offers 2 for 1 cocktails* from 5-8pm Monday to Friday.  Whether it's an intimate dining experience or a group celebration, the Mill and Charlie's Bar will cater to your every need.

The gorgeous Charlie’s Bar, a sumptuous cocktail lounge is nestled in the basement beneath The Mill.  Drinking and Dining - it's decadence over two levels...what more could you want?  The Mill and Charlie's Bar - the perfect venue for your next celebration - dinner upstairs, followed by drinking and partying downstairs in Charlie's.
